Warm Welcomes

Sunday March 8th is International Women's Day so thought this would be a great opportunity to introduce two thirds of the Chimney Fire team, and welcome Lorena on board!

Lorena joined a couple of weeks back and has been busy helping out packing and dispatching all your coffees. It's fair to say Lorena has coffee in her blood, being from a coffee farming family in El Salvador and bringing her speciality coffee to the UK before moving to the Surrey Hills. Lorena is also a qualified Q grader (kind of like a wine sommelier) so will be helping us analyse exciting new coffees.

Many of you will already know our meticulous roaster, Elizabeth, who ensures every batch of coffee is consistently roasted and taste-tested. Elizabeth had been blogging and home roasting from nearly a decade before joining Chimney Fire a couple of years ago, and was inspired by her brother who runs speciality coffee business Furth Kaffee in Vienna - a passion for great coffee seems to run in the family!
