REVIVAL CLASSIC BLEND
A smooth, chocolatey espresso roast with rich depth and a long finish – ideal for home espresso machines or moka pot brewing.
An espresso for the ages.
The Revival Classic Blend is born from our desire to combine the rich flavour and aroma of traditional Italian espresso with the responsible, transparent sourcing of modern speciality coffee.
A throwback to simpler times and holidays abroad, it's a morning pick-me-up in a quiet backstreet café. It's a cappuccino in a beach front bar, with the summer sun on your back. A slowly sipped cafetière on your balcony, the shady piazza below gradually coming to life.
And why Revival? To breathe new life into an iconic taste, and to prepare you for the long day ahead.
ABOUT THE ORIGINS
Our Revival Classic Blend contains a rotating mixture of no more than three of the following seasonal origins at any one time, selected to maintain a consistent profile:
Brazil:
Fazenda Sertão
Fazenda Sertão is an 850-hectare farm with 330 hectares planted in coffee of several varieties, including Red and Yellow Bourbon, Yellow Catucai, and Yellow Catuai. The farm also grows bananas and corn and is used to raise dairy livestock. This farm has a lovely story behind it: Among the first generation of coffee growers in this area was Jose Isidro Pereira, a dentist-turned–coffee producer who inherited Fazenda Sertão from his mother when she passed away—an incident that ended his dentistry career but put him on a path to coffee farming. In 1949, Jose Isidro met the "love of his life," Nazareth, who continues to run the farm her husband left in her care. Nazareth and Jose Isidro's children - Francisco, Luiz Paulo, Clycia, and Sandra - are also coffee producers, carrying on the family tradition.
Regional Selection
This regional selection comes from Carmo de Minas in Brazil’s Mantiqueira mountains, an area renowned for its ideal conditions for specialty coffee production. Grown at 1,000–1,300 masl by selected farmers, it is a blend of natural process coffees from multiple varieties, offering farm-level traceability. The region’s climate - with 1,100–1,600 mm of rainfall and a dry harvest season from May to August creates perfect conditions for slow fruit ripening.
Peru:
Sourced through our direct relationship with Marita at the organic-certified Cooperativa Juan Marco El Palto, this coffee reflects our commitment to long-term partnerships that support producers and communities. Formed in 2003 by 35 farmers and now over 350 members strong, the cooperative has reinvested speciality premiums into infrastructure, training, and sustainability initiatives, including tree planting in Peru.
Colombia:
Huila Reserve
These farmers own less than 2 hectares of land and mostly produce traditional Colombian varieties such as Castillo, Variedad Colombia, Caturra, and Tabi. All selected farmers in our program deliver their coffees directly to our collection warehouse in Huila. The coffees are then carefully assessed to ensure they fulfil all grading and quality requirements. Every lot is cupped separately and then blended depending on the characteristics of each one. Once coffees are approved by our quality control team, farmers are paid the next day for their coffees. This lot is composed of smallholders from the following municipalities: Isnos, Pitalito, Acevedo, Iquira, Palermo, La Plata, Oporapa, and La Argentina.
Popayán Reserve
The Popayán Reserve is grown at 1,700 masl in Cauca, Colombia, where fertile volcanic soils and the shelter of the Andes create the perfect conditions for specialty coffee. Produced by around 75 dedicated growers, who receive up to 20% above market prices, this coffee showcases both quality and sustainability. After careful cherry selection, the beans are de-pulped, washed, and dried on raised beds for 5–7 days, preserving their vibrant flavour.
Guatemala:
Finca Medina, founded in 1842 and spanning 100 hectares on the foothills of the Agua volcano near Antigua, Guatemala, combines modern technology with traditional techniques to produce high-quality, sustainable Antigua coffee. We work directly with Antonia and Jorge to shape the coffee style and manage the farm-to-roastery process ourselves. Each batch is carefully evaluated for traceability, quality, aroma, flavour, and balance. Renowned internationally, Antigua coffee is celebrated for its fragrance, floral notes, light body, chocolate hints, and balanced acidity. Finca Medina is UTZ and Rainforest Alliance certified and actively supports environmental sustainability and the wellbeing of its workers and their families through programs including free dental and healthcare.
