about our 2023 christmas blend

This year, we have created a Christmas blend fit for the festive season!

Our goal was to come up with a cup that both delights the senses and marries well with traditional Christmas foods. It was an inspiring task, which presented its own challenges for us. We had to choose coffees which, individually, offer their own unique flavour profiles, but also benefit the final flavour and drinking experience.

So, with a boozy, comforting, 'hug in a mug' kind of coffee in mind (perfect for the winter months), we decided to create a blend that features plenty of body and a lovely rich mouthfeel, with dried fruit and chocolate flavours. It was very important for us to put together a blend that can be enjoyed with or without milk, and that works using various brewing methods - what we call an omni roast.

The start of the process was to select a good base, giving the rich and chocolatey notes we were looking for. After this, we looked to spice up the blend with other coffees to add a touch of sparkle. One in particular (a natural processed bean) brings the warming, boozy flavour to the cup.

Our team thinks that this choice to use coffees from a number of different origins and processing methods has worked out really well. We certainly hope you enjoy the experience, and that when Christmas comes along you can kick off your shoes, sit back, and relax with a lovely cup of our 2023 Christmas Blend!
